We're a college football blog here, but we know a legend and bad son of a gun when we see one.
He didn't have the greatest tact and he could have calmed down his shtick throughout his career, but Knute Bryant can't help but respect a guy who says what's on his mind. He didn't put up with back talking from his players, dumb administration, or stupid questions from the media, and we love that from anybody.
While his career will be more remembered for the chairs, choking, and cussing, we'll always remember him as one of the greatest coaches of the motion offense, which knocked off some good teams even with some of Knight's less talented teams. Kudos to you Bobby. Kudos to you.
